SIP Routing to Avaya Aura

Configurations from Avaya CM Command Line Interface

Calls to Imagicle Advanced Queuing or Auto Attendant are transferred to the Imagicle UCX Suite through a SIP trunk defined in Avaya. This must be configured without encryption and without authentication, using TCP port 5062.

SIP trunk is associated with a "Trunk-group" and configured as follows:

trunk-group:

  • service type: public-ntwrk

  • numbering format: private

  • Send Transferring Party Information: y

  • Network Call Redirection: y

  • Send Diversion Header: y

  • Support Request History: y

  • Always use re-invite for display-updates: y

Please note that Avaya SIP license must allow as many simultaneous conversations as double the number of Advanced Queuing/Auto Attendant channels.

For each queue or IVR service defined in Imagicle UCX Suite, a route entry must be provided in Avaya CM. An additional wildcard route entry is also needed to manage the AdvQue camp-on, based on the chosen prefix.
