How to Remove Spurious prefix in Subject field

Description:

Remove spurious prefix from Subject field, while using Digital Fax email-to-fax feature.

How-to:

Please access Imagicle UCX Suite file system through a RDP session.

Locate the following file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\StonevoiceAS\Apps\StoneFax\Server\System\stonefax.ini

Edit it with Notepad and add the following line:

[MailToFax]              ⇒ Section tag
SelectSubjectTags=       ⇒ String to be removed from subject
ReplaceSubjectTagsWith=  ⇒ Optional String that replaces previous one

When you add the string to be removed, you must use a Regex expression. As an example, if you need to remove [ACME], relevant Regex is: "^\[ACME\] "

If you just need to remove the prefix string, then you can leave the «ReplaceSubjectTags» empty.

In case of problems while applying above rules, you can check the following log file:
