Welcome to the Imagicle Call Recording for UCX Platform KB
This KB section highlights the Imagicle Compliancy Call Recording Cloud-based solution for Microsoft Teams and for Cisco Webex Calling and Cisco Webex Contact Center native providers.
Dedicated to any company that needs to record audio calls either for critical services with legal requirements, for operator training or just to keep track of important calls.
Depending on the Calling Platform in place, it offers two recording modes:
Always On, where every call is automatically recorded with no user intervention
On Demand, letting the user decide when to start conversation recording through a softkey on Cisco or MS-Teams client.
Recorded calls are encrypted by the AES-256 bit algorithm and stored in the Imagicle UCX Platform Cloud, where they can be searched and retrieved through the UCX Platform web portal.

Recordings disk occupancy: 300KBytes per minute ⇒ 18 MBytes/hour
MP3 format details
Recordings are compressed and stored in MP3 format, with a constant bit rate of 32 kbps.

Imagicle Call Recording Licensing
Imagicle Call Recording comes with two different users-based licenses, depending on the Calling Platform:
Call Recording Essentials: This license is meant to be associated to each Cisco WxC or WxCC named user to be enabled for Call Recording. This license allows to enable each user for always-on automatic recording or on-demand (selective) recording.
Call Recording Core: Same as above, dedicated to MS-Teams named users.
Minimum license quantity for both: 5 users.
