Architecture
All corporate directories and personal/department contacts are locally stored in the Imagicle UCX Cloud Suite server, periodically synchronized with the relevant external sources. This allows a very quick and efficient contact search from web interface, Webex client and Imagicle UCX Console.
Imagicle Contact Manager does not directly interact with Webex Calling Multi-tenant, nor with registered clients. Imagicle Contact Manager enables click-to-call feature on UCX Console and Webex Desktop clients.

Imagicle Meta Connector is required if you need to import external contacts from any ODBC-based database or other external directories embedded into groupware applications. It is not required while importing internal users/extensions from AD/LDAP or Calling Platform.
To import contacts from an on-prem source, please be aware that an Imagicle Private Cloud instance is required, including private peering to local DC.
