Imagicle Cloud Instance Types
Depending on your Calling Platform, your company region and the Imagicle applications you need to adopt, Imagicle is providing two different Cloud platform options:
Imagicle Public Cloud instance
Imagicle Dedicated Cloud instance
Let's have a closer look at both options.
Imagicle Public Cloud UCX Suite
The Imagicle UCX Public Cloud Suite is available for production, free trials, POCs, labs in a restricted number of main worldwide regions:
Continental Europe (Frankfurt)
USA and Latin America (Oregon)
The United Kingdom
Canada
Japan
If you wish to deploy your Imagicle UCX Cloud Suite in a different region, due to specific country regulations concerning data localization, then you can directly skip to next Imagicle Private Cloud UCX Suite chapter.
Imagicle Public Cloud instance provides Internet OTT peering to your data center, allowing to transport audio streams and a restricted number of protocols through standard Internet network. Please consider that nowadays the Internet is a worldwide, broadband network so, unless your company has a low-bandwidth Internet access, the latency is low and it fully supports both real-time and best effort communications, even without granting QoS and packet prioritization.
Imagicle UCX Cloud Suite web portal is accessible from Internet too, through a FQDN provided by Imagicle.
All Imagicle applications are natively available from Internet, allowing roaming users and smart workers to leverage them anywhere.
For Cloud-based Calling Platforms like Cisco Webex Calling MT or Microsoft Teams, this is typical platform we propose to our customers.
Imagicle Dedicated Cloud UCX Suite
The Imagicle UCX Dedicated Cloud Suite is available for production, free trials, POCs, labs in wide range of worldwide regions, as per AWS hosting infrastructure.
Other than giving you the choice of the nearest AWS data center for its deployment, Imagicle Dedicated Cloud UCX Suite includes a private peering between Imagicle Cloud and your own data center. Imagicle offers four different private peering choices, depending on your existing network infrastructure:
Site-to-Site VPN
SD-WAN
Equinix ECX
VPC peering
Please consult the dedicated KB to learn more about each of above peering options.
A private peering is not only assuring a dedicated, encrypted pipeline between Imagicle Cloud and your DC: it enables the transport of other protocols which are not fitted for Internet OTT peering. Some examples below:
Microsoft Share Protocol, to save fax document and/or audio recordings into an on-prem file server/NAS, instead of leveraging Imagicle Cloud unlimited disk storage.
LDAP, to access an on-prem AD/LDAP server for users' or contacts' provisioning
POP, IMAP, SMTP protocols to interface an on-prem email server
SQL, to save Imagicle data and configurations into an on-prem SQL Server instance, instead of leveraging Imagicle Cloud SQL instance with unlimited storage.
TAPI, to monitor and control CTI-enabled desk phones and softphones.
AXL, proprietary Cisco protocol required to retrieve users and devices registered on on-prem CUCM or Webex Calling DI
FIAS, UHLL, MITEL protocols to interface an on-prem Property Management System (PMS)
If you opt for an Imagicle Dedicated Cloud instance, we are going to invite you to complete an online questionnaire, to provide us your network details and the chosen private peering method.
