Cisco Webex Calling MT onboarding and global setup

In this article we are listing all the required steps to onboard a new Webex Calling MT customer and authorize Imagicle apps within own Organization.

Customer must connect to the Imagicle onboarding web page to provide own data and authorize multiple integrations.

Imagicle retrieves customer’s Org details and selected authorization tokens:

  • Users' Synch

  • Webex Presence

  • Call Control

  • Call Analytics

  • Webex CC Recorder

How to request a new UCX Cloud Suite onboarding

Imagicle verifies all required Webex Org data has been properly collected.

If collected data is enough and it is consistent with requirements, then we ACK the customer

Imagicle triggers the UCX Cloud Suite deployment procedure.

An online questionnaire is sent to the customer, asking details about its environment, VPN appliances and required subnets.

Imagicle Cloud Instance Types

Once Imagicle receives filled questionnaire from customer, a requirements check is performed and in case some data is not consistent, further details are asked.

Proper UCX Cloud Suite instance is deployed and Private Peering is configured in Imagicle Cloud (if required).

Populate the Users' database from Webex Control Hub, including fields mapping.

Choose which user types to import:

  • Webex Users

  • Virtual Objects

  • Workspaces

Synchronize Users against Cisco Webex Control Hub | Enabling-Webex-Users'-Synch-from-Imagicle-Web-Portal

Choose proper users' authentication and web sessions tuning.

Imagicle UCX Cloud Suite must be enabled to send email notifications related to alarms, scheduled reports and other information.
