CTI/TAPI Service Provider add-on
The TSP (Telephony Service Provider) is an interface between the PBX and the Windows Operating System. Once installed, it works as a system driver which interacts with the PBX through a TCP session and allows initiating calls, monitoring and controlling phone devices registered on the PBX. This is also known as CTI (Computer Telephony Integration).
Some other Cloud-based Calling Platforms, like Cisco Webex Calling MT or MS-Teams, do not require a TSP driver, because they expose some APIs (web services) for this purpose. Please check relevant sections in this Knowledge Base web site.
Cisco UCM, Webex Calling DI and Avaya Calling Platforms require the installation of a native, Windows-based TSP driver on Imagicle UCX Suite, to allow CTI interactions through TAPI protocol (Telephony Application Programmers Interface).

CTI configuration is usually accomplished in these steps:
Device association: create on PBX a list of devices to be controlled through TAPI.
TSP Installation: download and configure a solution specific driver on Imagicle UC Suite instance.
The following Imagicle applications require a TSP to be correctly installed and configured on the server:
Advanced Queuing
UCX Console
Call Recording (optional)
Contact Manager (optional)
Phone Lock (optional)
You can find the detailed setup procedures under each application section.
Some IP-PBX platform does not provide a TSP driver to monitor/control their phones. For these platforms (like MonkeyVoice), a specific third party driver is available on a project base. Please contact Imagicle for more information.
