UCX Suite for MS-Teams
Architecture
Imagicle supports two different methods for routing calls from/to Advanced Queuing and Auto Attendant services:
Extend architecture - native SIP Routing
Imagicle Cloud natively connects to Microsoft Teams Cloud via Secure SIP trunk, to provide call routing and audio announcements using G.711 codec. This architecture grants a complete independence from the PSTN access adopted by customer. Can be either through a local SBC (Direct Routing) or leveraging MS-Teams own Calling Plans.

Extend architecture does not allow to overflow queued calls to a PSTN number, due to a Microsoft limitation. A possible workaround requires a call overflow to an MS-Teams user, in turns forwarded to the PSTN number.
Connect architecture - SBC SIP Routing
Imagicle offers SBC-to-SBC peering option to route inbound and outbound calls between Imagicle UCX Cloud Platform instance and MS-Teams telephony environment, by configuring SIP-based SBC-to-SBC interconnection on MS-Teams Direct Routing SBC.

Connect architecture allows to directly overflow queued calls to a PSTN number.
Imagicle Regional SBCs network
Imagicle has deployed three main Public SBC appliances to allow SIP routing for the following regional areas:
Europe SBC, covering EU Countries and British Isles
Middle East SBC, covering ME countries and India macro-regions
Singapore SBC, covering far-east Asia and Oceania continent
America SBC, covering the whole American continent
All Imagicle UCX Cloud instances are leveraging above Public SBCs to handle MS-Teams call routing.
