Imagicle Advanced Queueing

UCX Suite for MS-Teams

Architecture

Imagicle supports two different methods for routing calls from/to Advanced Queuing and Auto Attendant services:

Extend architecture - native SIP Routing

Imagicle Cloud natively connects to Microsoft Teams Cloud via Secure SIP trunk, to provide call routing and audio announcements using G.711 codec. This architecture grants a complete independence from the PSTN access adopted by customer. Can be either through a local SBC (Direct Routing) or leveraging MS-Teams own Calling Plans.

The Extended architecture does not allow queued calls to overflow directly to a PSTN number due to a Microsoft limitation. A workaround is to overflow calls to an MS Teams user who has call forwarding enabled to the desired PSTN number.

Connect architecture - SBC SIP Routing

Imagicle offers SBC-to-SBC peering option to route inbound and outbound calls between Imagicle UCX Cloud Platform instance and MS-Teams telephony environment, by configuring SIP-based SBC-to-SBC interconnection on MS-Teams Direct Routing SBC.

Connect architecture allows to directly overflow queued calls and Auto Attendant calls to a PSTN number.

Imagicle Regional SBCs network

Imagicle has deployed several Public SBC appliances to allow SIP routing in different regional areas. You can find the regions list in this KB article.
