How to automatically delete fax documents from Imagicle server, once processed

Description:

How to set a fax document retention equal to ZERO

Solution:

It's possible to automatically delete any fax document once it has been processed, by applying the following procedure:

• Edit file <StonevoiceAS>\Apps\Stonefax\Server\System\Stonefax.ini
• Under [Settings] add the following line:

DeleteFaxDocumentsImmediatelyAfterProcessing=1

• Save file
• Restart StoneFax service

When above flag is set to 1, fax documents are immediately deleted after processing (mail notification, print, archive). Outgoing fax tiff file is deleted when the fax has been actually sent and an mail notification has been sent back to the sender, if this feature is enabled.
Incoming fax tiff file is deleted when the fax has been received and email notification, network print and archive have been completed, if these features are enabled.

Please allow up to two minutes for TIFF file to be fully deleted from file system.
