While providing the Imagicle Call Recording solution to financial, banking or trading entities, it is crucial to support the recording pause/resume feature.
During a phone conversation, it might be required to supply a credit card number, together with cardholder details and other card data. While Imagicle solution is not meant to hold, transmit and process such sensitive data, the recording user MUST manually pause the recording by leveraging a soft or hard button available within the physical phone device or on the softphone.
Depending on the Calling Platform in place, the pause/resume button is either provided by the Imagicle Call Recording solution itself or directly provided by the telephony infrastructure. In both cases, the user has always the possibility to manually pause/resume the recording.
While recording is paused, a blank audio section replaces the actual credit card data acquisition within the overall conversation, thus masking any sensitive data content in recorded audio.
